02/17/10You will be responsible for multiple aspects of marketing including, but not limited to: 1. Advertising techniques 2. Promotional materials 3. Public presentations Requirements: 1. Assist with public presentations to individuals and groups including PPM clients, groups, community conferences, and other venues 2. Assist with the creation of publicity 3. Conduct research and analysis, by tabulating results from evaluation forms and creating reports summarizing key findings 4. Develop and implement specific approaches to marketing PPM services and special events with an emphasis on client outreach 5. Draft content for media outlets. 6. Participate in the development of new marketing materials 7. Positively promote PPM and its mission in the community. 8. Provide input and assistant in meeting Marketing Plan objectives 9. Research options for promotional materials according to budgetary limitations and marketing objectives 10. Researching cost effective vehicles for reaching target audiences 11. Special projects as identified 12. Creating media contact list and database 13. Assist with other relevant duties as assigned Qualifications: Marketing, management, business, communications or related field background Basic Desktop Publishing and Website Management skills (e.g.: Microsoft Publisher, Adobe PageMaker / Photoshop, etc.) A commitment to PPM’s vision and mission Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames Confidence to share ideas and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly Positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving mentality Willingness to provide public presentations in a variety of settings Interest in and sensitivity to diverse ethnic, cultural and religious groups APPLY ONLINE ONLY!!! http://plannedparenthoodvolunteer.hire.com/joblist.html?displaymode=-4.1141
