08/14/09$400- 1br in 3br apt available sept 1 For rent is a wonderful mid-size bedroom in a sunny and cozy three-bedroom apartment in Roslindale, with two great mid-20's gals for roommates! ~~We are looking for someone who likes to have fun. Doesen't mind some music and drinks every now and than. And most of all down to earth! No more pets, sorry. No couples please. And were looking for FEMALES only please:) The room - * this is the middle bedroom in the apartment (literary in between the other bedrooms, but without sharing any walls with them so you have your privacy) * the room has one window and two doors - one goes out to the staircase (sort of a private entrance :)), the other one goes out in hallway to the bathroom and kitchen (very strategic location:)). I know the layout is peculiar but I quickly learned to appreciate it :) * there is one small closet in the bedroom, but also plenty of storage in the rest of the apartment. * the room features hardwood floors and wallpapered walls * comfortably fits up to a queen size bed and other smaller furniture ( right now I have a queen-size bed with a huge frame, a very large dresser with mirror, book shelf, small desk with chair, and side table) The apartment - * large sunny three-bedroom on a quiet street in Roslindale, one block from Washington Street and main bus lines 34/34E and 40/50 , and plenty of street parking.... * 2-minute drive/10 min walk to Roslindale Square - groceries stores, bank, post office, restaurants, etc. ... in a nutshell, just a great community! * 10 minute drive/bus ride to Forest Hills T (Orange Line) which will take you downtown in about 20 minutes * the apartment features a large living room linked to a large dining room with lots of sunlight * large eat-in kitchen with food pantry (plenty of shelf space for dry and canned food, etc) * full bathroom with linen closet just outside for towels/toiletries * front and back porches - back porch is closed in with sliding windows all around - great in the summer!!! * !!!! Utilities to be paid by the roommates include heat (oil), gas, cable & internet * Since heat is oil, there would be a one-time big expense to fill up the tank, but you could also do 2-3 fill-ups and spread out the cost (that's what we did last winter and it wasn't bad at all). Total cost per person for heat for THE WHOLE WINTER would probably come up to about $250-300 (not per month for whole winter), so count that in. * Other utilities range at about $50-60 per person per month The roommates - * two ladies are in their mid-twenties, both work full-time and are responsible, reliable and extremely open-mined and fun to be around * we basically looking for someone similar to them to take over my room and get into a year-lease * THERE ARE TWO REALLY CUTE GRAY KITTIES (brother and sister, both have been fixed), SO IF YOU'RE ALLERGIC, BEWARE... The landlords - * live right next door and are extremely helpful, understanding and reliable TO MOVE IN - FIRST AND LAST IS DUE SEPTEMBER 1 WHEN THE NEW LEASE STARTS. NO SECURITY DEPOSIT. JUST 800 DOLLARS(1 year lease required by the landlords.)
