Hello!
We have one bedroom available in our house in Arlington are looking for a fun/bright young professional/grad student to go along with the two others who currently live in the space! (Currently there are two 23yr old females, one will be starting nursing school at Marymount in January, and the other is at GW, and one utterly adorable small white dog, that does not bark!!)...
The bedroom is big (fits a double bed, desk, bookshelf) with hardwood floors (throughout the house), has two large double-paned windows with full sunlight that face the garden, warm yellow colored walls, a private door to enter/leave (if you want to use it), and a built-in closet. You would be sharing the bathroom with one other girl.
The house has a wonderful vibe, with each room painted a different color, hardwood floors, windows in every room, wraparound big yard, large bbq, lawn furniture, ample parking, and the list goes on!
The house is one block from Safeway, 7-11, a yoga studio, Thai food, Baskin Robbins, amongst other things on Route 29 (Giant, Chevy Chase, sushi, Starbucks, the Italian Store, all about 5 blocks away). This house has a great location and is very close to Marymount and the GMU law campus.
The house is a 15-20 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) to Ballston or VA Sq metros. There is also a bus 30 seconds away that goes directly to Rosslyn, as well as ART buses that go to the metro.
The neighborhood is super safe, quiet, and relaxed. The house is a duplex and we have the main floor, while 3 others live upstairs (similar situation), but they have a private entrance etc...

Rent is $715 and includes water, gas/heating, and trash services. Electricity tends to be $10-15/month. Deposit is one months rent.
The room is available November 1st with a lease until September 1st 2009, though most groups that live here tend to renew since it is so great :)
